🔍 About the Role
We're looking for a QA Engineer (Manual Testing) who thrives on catching edge cases, reproducing tricky bugs, and ensuring a great user experience. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to manually validate new features and updates before they reach our users.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, curiosity, and a methodical approach to testing will be your superpowers.
🛠️ Skills Required
- 2–4 years of experience in a manual QA or software testing role
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, testcases writing, and bug reporting
- Experience writing clear, thorough test cases and test scenarios
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr
- Comfortable working in Agile or fast-paced development environments
- Basic understanding of APIs and using tools like Postman for testing
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership over product quality
🎯 Responsibilities
- Create and execute detailed manual test plans for new features and releases
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover bugs, edge cases, and usability issues
- Reproduce, log, and track issues with precision and clarity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand feature requirements and risk areas
- Test across different devices, screen sizes, and browsers as needed
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release readiness reviews
- Maintain and update test documentation in sync with evolving product features
